JONATHAN FELD, secretary/treasurer

Jonathan Feld is a higher education veteran with a wide range of experiences in Wisconsin’s technical college system and, most recently, Lakeland University. Currently serving and the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Feld leads the areas of student recruitment, admissions & onboarding, campus life, residence life and student support for Lakeland University's 1,800 students at its Plymouth, Wisconsin main campus, its 6 regional Wisconsin centers and its Tokyo, Japan campus. During his tenure with the university, Feld has increased new student enrollment for multiple consecutive terms, has strengthened the university's technical college partnerships, and has doubled the humber of high school students taking college courses. Prior to his time at Lakeland, Feld served for 15.5 years at Milwaukee Area Technical College, a college serving over 30,000 students. Feld held several roles focused on recruitment and admissions including high school relations, university transfer, international education. Feld led the college to serve over 4000 high school students through dual enrollment, co-developed a strategic enrollment management plan building upon his work of developing sequential academic pathways, and co-led the development and implementation of the MATC Promise tuition scholarship, Wisconsin's first free tuition-for-low income families program. Feld has served on numerous boards and work teams both locally and state-wide and has spoken at both state and national levels on education reform. Feld is working toward a Doctor of Education at the University of the Cumberlands, and has earned a graduate certificate in community college education from Old Dominion University, a master’s degree in literary studies from Fort Hays State University, a bachelor’s in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an associate of arts from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
